AKTU — Centralised Question Bank

AKTU-KRITI — the AKTU Knowledge Repository & Intelligent Test-paper Infrastructure. Faculty across AKTU author questions against a versioned, machine-readable syllabus. The Controller of Examination confirms every Bloom's level. Examination officers generate papers from a blueprint with a seed, so any paper can be reproduced and audited later.

Bloom's coverage enforced

1. Operating principles

1.1Syllabus is the spine

Every question is bound to a versioned unit and topic code parsed straight from the university syllabus document. Nothing floats free.

1.2Write where it is thin

Faculty do not submit into a void. The portal shows the blueprint cells short of approved questions and asks for exactly those.

1.3AI advises, humans decide

Duplicate detection, Bloom's classification and triage scoring are advisory signals. K5 and K6 always require the Controller of Examination.

1.4Fail loudly

If a blueprint cell cannot be filled from the approved pool, generation stops and reports the gap instead of silently substituting.

2. Procedure — how a question travels

  1. 2.1

Syllabus documents are ingested and versioned into subjects, units, topics and experiments.

  2. 2.2

The blueprint declares how many questions each unit needs, at which Bloom's level and mark weight.

  3. 2.3

Faculty claim an open gap and write against that exact cell.

  4. 2.4

AI checks for duplication and proposes a Bloom's level; the item is anonymised first.

  5. 2.5

The Controller of Examination approves, returns for revision or rejects — and the decision is logged permanently.

  6. 2.6

Exam officers generate a paper from the blueprint using a seed, or are told precisely which cell is empty.
